Message from NYC Parks and Recreation re: Shore Front Parkway

We have received the following email from Jill Weber, our area Park's Administrator regarding Shore Front Parkway....

January 21, 2014

To our friends on Shore Front Parkway:

The Parks Department made a large investment in topsoil, grass seed, ornamental plants and decorative fencing to restore the center medians along Shore Front Parkway  following Superstorm Sandy.  

Vehicles are not authorized to park on this stretch of parkland as they damage the lawns. 

We respectfully request that you do not park on the medians during 

this and any future snow events.
