Snow should start falling in our area early Monday morning with 20 mph winds gusting to 30 mph providing 2-4 inches of accumulation through Monday afternoon.
The storm will begin to intensity and strengthen late Monday afternoon into the evening hours with 35 mph winds gusting to 55 mph providing an additional 12-18 inches of accumulation. Heavy drifting snow may be accompanied by thunder and lighting ("thundersnow") during the overnight hours Monday night into Tuesday morning.
Tuesday will see the heavy drifting snow continuing with 30 mph gusting to 50 mph and an additional 9-13 inches of snow possible.
Tuesday night will see another possible 1-2 inches of drifting snow with 30 mph winds gusting to 40 mph.
Total Projected Snow Accumulations at this time: 24-36 inches
Tuesday will see the heavy drifting snow continuing with 30 mph gusting to 50 mph and an additional 9-13 inches of snow possible.
Tuesday night will see another possible 1-2 inches of drifting snow with 30 mph winds gusting to 40 mph.
