Friday evening's high tide on W12thRd

Jamaica Bay tidal water floods W12thRd via the unprotected end of the street where the new bulkhead will be constructed starting later this month.

The 6.5 foot high tide at 7:00 pm is on the sidewalk and starting to climb the fire hydrant at the end of W12th Road.

Tidal street flooding has reached more than halfway up the block and against the foundations of residences.


NOTE:

Tomorrow (Saturday) evening's 6.9 foot high tide at 8:00 pm will be even higher!
