A slow moving area of low pressure off our coast will result in
unsettled weather through the end of the work week, with periods
of rain and gusty northeast winds.

Rain chances will increase from east to west this morning and
continue through much of the daylight hours before diminishing
briefly after sunset. Any dry weather will be shortlived, with
rain chances increasing once again late tonight into the day on
Thursday before gradually diminishing Thursday night. In addition
to the rain, gusty northeast winds along the coast will increase
from 25-35 mph today to 35-45 mph Thursday into Thursday night. The
greatest impacts from both winds and rain are expected along the
coast, generally from New York City on east.

With plenty of cloud cover, daytime temperatures will remain
below normal, with highs both today and Thursday only rising into
the upper 50s to around 60. Overnight lows will range from the mid
40s north and west to around 50 at the coast, near normal for this
time of year.
