"What A Different Three Years Makes: to much of the area, Sandy battered the Bayview restaurant and lounge three years ago. The popular Broad Channel spot was left with little more than its front facade and some inside walls. The rest was washed into Jamaica Bay. It has been closed and shuttered since then. Over the past few months construction has proceeded rapidly as the Bayview has been rebuilt. No details yet on when the new Bayview Grille & Marina will open, but we’ll get them to you as soon as they are available."
