* LOCATIONS...THE SOUTH SHORE BACK BAYS OF WESTERN LONG ISLAND 
AND THE ATLANTIC FACING BEACHES. 
 
* SURF HEIGHT...4 TO 6 FEET. 
 
* RIP CURRENT RISK...HIGH. 
 
* TIDAL DEPARTURES...ONE HALF TO ONE FOOT. 
 
* TIMING...HIGH TIDE CYCLE TODAY. THE HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS 
CONTINUES THROUGH TODAY. 
 
* IMPACTS...FLOODING OF THE MOST VULNERABLE SHORE ROADS AND/OR 
BASEMENTS. MAJORITY OF ROADS REMAIN PASSABLE WITH ONLY
