Anthony Weiner to open Rockaway restaurant

What’s on the menu, wiener schnitzel and humble pie?
Crotch-tweeting ex-congressman Anthony Weiner plans to open a restaurant in the Rockaways, featuring what is described as “locally sourced food,” according to a report.
The Rockaway Restoration Kitchen, which is in its early development phases, will serve up healthy grub and provide jobs to unemployed New Yorkers, according to the paper.
The eatery will sell “locally sourced food that satisfies the hunger of Rockaway residents,” according to a description of the restaurant posted on Idealist.org .
No word on whether the eatery will feature the ex-pols apparent specialty — hot dogs.
“[It will] attract visitors and serve up dignity and self-sufficiency by serving as a hands-on training ground to provide skills, real experience and job placement in the culinary industry,” it notes.
Weiner has made no public announcements about the restaurant — but several sources said he’s been spotted scouting a site for it, according to the Rockaway Times .
The restaurant is also looking for an executive director, according to Idealist.org.
After his failed mayoral bid, Weiner hinted he would go into media — but he’s also showed a culinary side.
While volunteering at a food kitchen in November he told The Post, “I’m paring onions right now.”
Anthony Weiner’s brother Jason owns part of the American-fare restaurant Almond in Flatiron.
