Fund Our Ferry!
Our families live in the shadows of JFK airport and as good neighbors, I'm asking the Port Authority to consider supporting our critical ferry service. The Rockaway Ferry Service is set to expire in October and I have sent a letter to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey asking them to review the possibility of allocating funding to keep our ferry in service.
National Night Out Against Crime
I was proud to join the 100th, 101st, and 106th Precincts at their National Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday.

At the 106th Precinct, I thanked Deputy Inspector Jeffrey Schifffor his outstanding work in protecting the community and keeping our families safe in Ozone Park, Lindenwood and Howard Beach!

A special thank you to Frank Dardani, Danny Ruscillo, Denean Ferguson and all the community leaders who helped make these events a huge success!!

Small Business of the Month
This past month, I honored Bungalow Bar, a homegrown local business as 'Small Business of the Month' with an official New York State Assembly Proclamation. The Bungalow Bar received extensive damage during Sandy, but through the help of their extraordinary staff, family and very special guests, they reopened their doors and continue to serve our community!

To nominate a small business, please email me directly atgoldfederp@assembly.state.ny.us and include the reason for your nomination.
