Good Afternoon,
RISE : NYC is a $30 million CDBG-DR funded competition to identify new and innovative resiliency technologies and install them at NYC small businesses that were impacted by Hurricane Sandy.
Technology and solutions providers that are participating in the program are now looking for Sandy-impacted small businesses to include in their proposals as project sites. As a project site, participating small businesses may receive a technology installed at their business and/or building for free – ensuring that they are better prepared for extreme weather.
If interested in learning more, there are two opportunities for small businesses to get involved:
1. Join us on Wednesday, June 18th at 6pm for RISE : NYC Connect! The event is free and a great opportunity to meet technology providers that could help prepare small businesses for future storms. RSVP today here.
OR
2. Complete a simple, 1-minute online survey. Take the survey here.
Small businesses are encouraged to sign up by June 20th in order to have their contact information given to interested technology applicants for potential inclusion in applications.
For more information, please visit the RISE : NYC website, or email info@rise-nyc.com.
Thank you,
Cynthia Keyser
