Tucked away on the west side of the small town of Broad Channel in the middle of Jamiaca Bay is a narrow, dead end, street that goes by the name of West 12th Road. Those of us who live there know that the nice part about living in a small town is that when you are not quite sure what is going on, someone else always does!

RAPIDLY FALLING TEMPERATURES THIS EVENING WILL CAUSE ANY RESIDUAL MOISTURE ON ROADWAYS TO FREEZE AND CREATE BLACK ICE. THIS WILL MAINLY BE AN ISSUE ON SECONDARY ROADWAYS.
IN ADDITION...ISOLATED SNOW SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED LATE THIS EVENING INTO THE OVERNIGHT ALONG AND IN THE WAKE OF AN ARCTIC FRONTAL PASSAGE. A DUSTING OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE WITH ANY SNOW SHOWERS...WHICH WOULD CAUSE BRIEFLY REDUCED VISIBILITIES AND LOCALLY ICY CONDITIONS.
MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO USE CAUTION TRAVELING THIS EVENING INTO TUESDAY MORNING.
