According to the MTA's letter of June 26th to Councilman Eric Ulrich below, they will fill in the overnight bus gap in Broad Channel by expanding the Q53 bus line to operate on a 24 hour basis with late night hourly runs starting on September 8, 2013.
If ridership dictates, the MTA also anticipates expanding the operation of the Q52 bus line
