A Message from the Commanding Officer
of the 100th Police Precinct
We have been experiencing an increase in thefts of unattended property on the beach.
Bags containing credit cards, debit cards, cell phones, and other property is being taken off the sand while people are swimming, walking or running on the beach, utilizing the bathroom, or other things.
Please do not leave property unattended on the beach.
Immediately report any suspicious activity to the police, lifeguards, or other parks employees.
