* Until 330 PM EDT.

* At 225 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over South Amboy,
  moving east at 20 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* The strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Raritan Bay around 240 PM EDT.
  Sandy Hook Bay and The Verrazano Narrows Bridge around 300 PM EDT.
  Lower New York Harbor around 305 PM EDT.
  Rockaway Inlet around 315 PM EDT.
  Jamaica Bay around 325 PM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
