Queens County in southeastern New York...
* Until 1030 AM EDT
* At 623 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause
urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas
will result in minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to one inch
of rain has already fallen. Rainfall rates close to 1 inch per
hour will be possible through the morning commute.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
