Hazardous Weather is Not Expected At This Time .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Low pressure passing south of Long Island late Friday night into Saturday has the potential to bring heavy rain that would result in flooding. At this time, the heaviest rain is forecast to stay south of the local area, but this could change. Flash and river flooding are not out of the question if the heaviest area of rain with this system shifts over the local area.
Tucked away on the west side of the small town of Broad Channel in the middle of Jamiaca Bay is a narrow, dead end, street that goes by the name of West 12th Road. Those of us who live there know that the nice part about living in a small town is that when you are not quite sure what is going on, someone else always does! [Peter J. Mahon West 12th Road, Broad Channel]
