...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 6 PM EST THURSDAY...

The National Weather Service in Upton has issued a Wind Advisory,
which is in effect from 1 AM to 6 PM EST Thursday.

* Winds...West 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 to 50 mph.

* Timing...Late tonight and Thursday, with the strongest winds
  most likely during Thursday morning.

* Impacts...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

In addition there is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms this
afternoon and evening, with the main threat from damaging winds.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph... or gusts of 46 to 57 mph...are expected or occurring. Winds this strong can make driving difficult...especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
