BC Bagel Shop Reopens
At 6 a.m. on March 20, the glass doors of All-American Bagels & Barista Company II welcomed customers back into the Broad Channel bagel shop.
The store, just past the Cross Bay Bridge toll plaza on Cross Bay Boulevard, had closed on Feb. 26 for several weeks of renovations.
Original owners Rob Pisani and Robert Steiner, who founded the business, later sold it after several successful years. Although it retained the name Rock N Roll Bagels, and had a similar menu, business had begun to dwindle under the new ownership.
Pisani and Steiner bought it back, in the process renaming it to keep it in line with another successful venture, All-American Bagel & Barista Company, in Lindenwood in Howard Beach.
Renovations included several new and changed features inside as well as changes to the exterior and also the parking lot and curb entrances.
The first customers seemed pleased with the new and redone fixtures, cases and menu items.
“It’s really nice to have these guys and all the great staff back!” said one man as he headed out the door.
No plans have yet been announced for a grand reopening date for the store.
