The official hurricane season for the Atlantic Basin, which includes the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico, runs from June 1st through November 30th.
Thankfully, the 2015 hurricane season has been quiet thus far but keep in mind we are about to enter the most active time of the season.
