"Up, up and away!" - Broad Channel resident works as tour guide aboard the Baylander IX14


Earlier this morning Vickie Mahon of W12th Road, Broad Channel was caught practicing her own personal take off and landing techniques aboard the "Baylander IX14" a Vietnam era coastal supply vessel later used to train helicopter pilots on marine landings which is currently docked at Pier 5 in the Brooklyn Bridge Park Marina and open to the public on weekends.

Vickie works as a weekend tour guide aboard the "Baylander IX14" (pictured below) along with her friend and fellow Harbor High School graduate, Erin Nolan.
