The Call A Head "porta potty" was still sitting at the end of W12th Road at 6:00 p.m. after almost being toppled into the bay with Tuesday morning's 6.5 foot high tide. Notifications were made to both the contractors and the Broad Channel Call A Head office on Cross Bay Boulevard earlier today regarding the ill advised placement of this sanitary convenience along with a recommendation that it should be moved and yet, there it still stands.
Or at least, that where it still stood until approximately 10:30 p.m. Tuesday evening when an almost 8 foot high tide lifted it up and over into Jamaica Bay!
