I have received several emails and calls regarding the issue of alternate parking to be made available during the construction phase of the pending Flood Mitigation Project.
All of the inquiries indicated that there appeared to be some lack of certainty regarding the establishing of additional parking on Cross Bay Boulevard to accommodate those West Side street parking spaces which would be displaced during the course of the pending Flood Mitigation Project on West 11th, 12th and 13th Roads by both DOT and DDC as well as the contractor, EIC Associates, at the recent Civic Association meeting..
According to our records, DOT has previously stated that an additional seventy-five (75) parking spaces would be allotted within the present "safety zone" on both the east and west side of the median on Cross Bay Boulevard from West 10th to West 14th Roads.
