Amy Peterson, of Nontraditional Employment for Women and a veteran in the Bloomberg and Giuliani administrations and former Vice President at the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation who oversaw post-9/11 disaster recovery, is rumored to be Mayor de Blasio's appointee to lead Sandy recovery efforts. DNAinfo

Though her appointment has not been formally announced, Ms. Peterson is expected to quicken the pace of Sandy recovery in the city.
