Jonathan Gaska, District Manager of Commnity Board 14 just forwarded me the below copy of DOT's notice of completion of review of the Environmental Assessment Statement regarding the pending flood mitigation project (DDC Project No. HWQ1182A) for Broad Channel which resulted in a "negative declaration."
NOTE: Negative Declaration: A written document issued when the lead agency determines that there would not be a significant impact on the environment as a result of the project. See 6 NYCRR 617.2 (y).
