I was looking out the second floor window of my house at the end of West 12th Road and noticed someone had their ice boat sailing across the frozen surface of Jamaica Bay earlier today.
I ran downstairs to the back deck to see if I could get a better picture but the ice boat was gone and I was left with this eerily beautiful view of a pristine sheet of ice completely covering the bay.
