This will be the final update on the waning nor'easter that is slowly drifting off the coast on a northward track.
Winter Storm "Hercules" will soon return to Olympus to be with his father, Zeus, and his biological mother, Alcmene.
It looks like we will finish will a total snow accumulation of some 6+ inches.
As for us mere mortals, the remainder of today will see blowing a slight chance of snow and areas of blowing snow before noon and then gradual clearing with a high near 17 degrees [F] and northwest winds of 26 mph gusting to almost 40 mph and wind chills as low as -10 degrees [F].
Tonight will be mostly clear with a low around 5 degrees [F] with northwest winds 17 mph and wind chills of -8 degrees [F].
Although the storm is just about over, please remain careful when travelling due to icy sidewalks and roadways and the extremely cold temperatures.
