DEP Advisory via Assemblyman Goldfeder's Office

Good afternoon all:

DEP will be conducting routine maintenance on the regulators in Cross Bay Blvd. & West 5^th Rd. and Cross Bay Blvd and West 14^th Rd. [today] January 30, 2014. A potential discolored water occurrence is anticipated in Cross Bay Blvd from West 5^th Rd to West 14^th Rd. Precautionary measures will be taken to minimize the impact.  DEP crews will be onsite.

If you should receive any calls from your constituents, please ask them to call 311 and the issue will be addressed.

NOTE:  The above email was forwarded to our attention by Assemblyman Phil Goldfeder's staff.   I called and spoke with Ms. Ellis earlier today to inquire as to exactly what type of "regulators" she was referring to in her email.  She stated the work in question is being done on the "water line distribution regulators" for our area and such work may result in sediment disturbance and clouded water.
