Storm Update #7 (2am 11/27/2013)



A strengthening storm is unloading windswept rain along our coastal area and will continue to do so through this morning and into late this afternoon.  The worst of the rain will end by this evening.  At this time (2 am) it is 54 degrees with heavy rain and southerly winds of 20+mph, gusting to 30. A Coastal Flooding Statement has been issued by the National Weather Service for tidal departures of 2.5 feet above normal through Wednesday night.  Today's high tides are:

3:02 pm (4.7 feet)
3:04 pm (4.6 feet)

A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 9 am this morning with winds of 20-30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
