Although the meeting is open to all West 12th residents, it is primarily intended for those property owenres who were unable to attend last month's meeting of the Broad Channel Civic Association.
Earlier today, I met with NYCDOT Commissioner Janette Sadik Khan and DOT Queens Borough Commissioner Maura McCarthy who were present on West 12th Road along with other staff representatives from DOT to inspect the end of street terminus in preparation for this evening's meeting.
Prior to leaving, Commisioner McCarthy reiterated that, as previously posted, the city and the RBA Group will conduct similar meetings for residents of West 11th and 13th Roads in order to address concerns specifically related to project construction and impact for those residents.
