The Storm Prediction Center has placed most of the area in a slight risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon. The main threat with any thunderstorms today will be strong, damaging winds and hail. An isolated tornado can not be ruled out. Dangerous rip currents and rough surf are likely to continue into Saturday as energetic swells from Dorian begin to affect the local shoreline. The highest surf is expected Friday into Saturday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
