Tucked away on the west side of the small town of Broad Channel in the middle of Jamiaca Bay is a narrow, dead end, street that goes by the name of West 12th Road. Those of us who live there know that the nice part about living in a small town is that when you are not quite sure what is going on, someone else always does!

Get Grant Funding!
The Citizens Committee for NYCis one of the oldest micro-grant organizations in the country, and the impact of their decades of work shows every day across the Five Boroughs. We’re New Yorkers; we’re restless; we care deeply about our neighborhoods; and sometimes, we know we need resources a City agency or nonprofit can't provide. That’s where the Citizens Committee steps in, to encourage innovative, truly home-grown efforts to make our neighborhoods a better place. I’m excited to host an opportunity to find out how to apply for a grant!

Thank you to Western Beef Supermarket for their generosity in donating turkeys!!
I hope everyone has a great holiday season!
