...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...
...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING
TO 6 PM EDT MONDAY...
...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM TO 10 PM EDT THIS
EVENING...


* LOCATIONS...Brooklyn, Queens, and Nassau Counties.

* TIDAL DEPARTURE...1/2 to 1 1/2 ft above astronomical tides.

* COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...There is a low threat of property
  damage. Shallow flooding is expected in the most vulnerable
  locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Expect around
  1 to 2 feet of inundation above ground level in low lying,
  vulnerable areas. Some roads and low lying property including
  parking lots, parks, lawns and homes/businesses with
  basements near the waterfront will experience shallow flooding.

* SURF AND RIP CURRENT RISK...High rip current risk. Surf
  heights increasing to 7 ft.

* SHORELINE IMPACTS...Moderate beach erosion possible.

* TIMING...Minor coastal flooding at the times of high tide.
  High rip current risk today, with dangerous surf
  developing later this morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
