...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO
MIDNIGHT EST TONIGHT...

The National Weather Service in New York NY has issued a Coastal
Flood Advisory, which is in effect from 9 PM this evening to
midnight EST tonight. The Coastal Flood Watch is no longer in
effect.

* LOCATIONS...Along the back bays and inlets of Southern Queens.

* TIDAL DEPARTURE...1 1/2 to 2 feet and locally up to 2 1/2 feet
  through tonight.

* TIMING...Minor to locally moderate flooding expected with the
  high tides through tonight.

* COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Inundation of 1 to 2 feet above ground
  level expected. Some roads and low lying properties will
  experience shallow flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
