Just a reminder that although the Atlantic's 2016 Hurricane Season has been unremarkable thus far (2 Hurricane and 3 Tropical Storms - none of which have impacted our area here in Broad Channel) we are now entering that period of time known as the "heart" of the hurricane season, that period of time consisting of the months of August, September and November.which sees the greatest number of storms generated,
For your information I have moved the National Hurricane Center's RSS feed which provides the status and updates on all Atlantic basin tropical cyclones to the top right hand side of this page where it will remain until the end of the 2016 season.
