THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTHEAST NEW YORK.

SNOW SHOWERS TODAY COULD BE LOCALLY HEAVY...BRIEFLY REDUCING
VISIBILITIES TO LESS THAN A HALF MILE AND PRODUCING A QUICK
COATING OF SLIPPERY ACCUMULATION ON AREA ROADWAYS.


AN EXTENDED COLD SNAP WILL BEGIN ON FRIDAY...AND LAST INTO MONDAY
MORNING. WIND CHILLS WILL BE AROUND OR BELOW ZERO FOR AN
EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME...FROM DAYBREAK MORNING INTO SUNDAY
MORNING...AND COULD FALL AS LOW AS 20 TO 25 BELOW ZERO LATE
SATURDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY SUNDAY MORNING.

LOW PRESSURE MOVING UP THE COAST EARLY NEXT WEEK COULD PRODUCE
WINTRY PRECIPITATION MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING...THEN
COMBINED RUNOFF FROM SNOW MELT AND HEAVY RAIN THAT COULD CAUSE
FLOODING TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND NIGHT.
