There was good humor, good company, food, beverages and even dancing. DJ Milty provided the music and uncannily also hit the dance floor at the same time. New faces joined old friends for a spirited and sometimes raucous evening.
A high point of the night was the presentation of special plaques of appreciation from the American Legion, Elks and Knights of Columbus. These were given in recognition of the Post 1404 Auxiliary and the Broad Channel Crafters’ efforts to raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project.
It was noted that the BC Legion and Crafters had raised funds above and beyond any other group last year.
The presentation was made by fundraising chairman Walter J. Osborn and Joseph J. Cammarata, co-chairman, who came with guests from Staten Island.
