The New York Post has long been known for its headlines which have ranged from outrageous to brilliant.
Perhaps the most famous Post headline of all time ran on the front page of the paper on April 15, 1983 stating, "Headless Body Found In Topless Bar"
I immediately knew that headline was a "keeper" and managed to hang on to a copy of that edition of the Post for some 29 years until some gal named Sandy borrowed it back in October of 2012 and never returned it.
Today's edition of the New York Post is, at least in my opinion, also a keeper. The Post has amended its front page masthead to red "NEW YORK POPE" in honor of the visit of Pope Francis to our city.
