The Broad Channel VFW will be holding a brunch on Sunday, May 17^th from 10 am to 2 pm.  

I know in the past I have aligned myself with those who couldn’t quite grasp the popularity of this “two in one” meal but I have been converted.  I no longer pay any attention to the brunch haters -- because I think it is, hands down,  the best meal ever. 

Seriously, there are so many reasons to love brunch -- most importantly the simple fact that any meal which has a Bloody Mary as its MVP completely makes up for any bogus reasons people cite as to why they hate this weekly ritual.

A world without brunch is definitely not a world I want to live in. 

Just think about how sad, lonely, and alcohol-free your Sunday mornings would be without this excuse to begin imbibing before the sun is directly overhead! 

And...they serve great food too!
