During the last few months, the city has repeatedly touted the success of the Build it Back program, saying that it has made progress ever since the de Blasio administration worked to overhaul it earlier this year.
In October the administration set a goal of 1,000 construction starts and 1,500 reimbursement checks by December 31.
According to the data, the city has hit 885 construction starts at 1,552 checks.
