Dewatering Well being installed at 55 West Road
The contractors have installed dewatering wells on or in front of properties located at 33, 37, 47 and 55 West 12th Road on the north side of the street.
The dewatering system is is required to remove/drain surface and ground water from our street after it is ultimately excavated for new infrastructure placement (storm, sewer and water lines) and raising.
On Tuesday, November 18th, the contractors will be excavating portions of the north sidewalk on West 12th Road to run pipes which will connect these four (4) wells. The sidewalks will be restored for pedestrian use after the pipes are installed and connected.
It would be greatly appreciated if West 12th Road residents could refrain from parking on the north side of the street from 33W12th to the bay end of the block tomorrow to afford contractors unimpeded access to the sidewalk areas being worked on.
What about Channel Road or East 10th Road, these streets floods every single time we have some rain, we didn't even get our roads paved! Doesn't seem fair that some streets were done and others were not! Who made this decision?
