Dear Neighbor,

Please join me and Doctors of the World for a special town hall meeting to address the healthcare needs of our communities post-Sandy. See our flyer here

 Town Hall on Healthcare Needs

Monday, September 22nd, 7pm
Arverne Pilgrim Church
 75-08 Beach Channel Drive

Our families in southern Queens and Rockaway have been struggling for years to receive quality and accessible healthcare. After the closure of peninsula hospital, we were left even more vulnerable and put at unnecessary risk. I hope you can join me to share your concerns and learn more about what we can do together.

You can stay up to date with community news and daily updates by following me on Facebook and Twitter.

Stay Strong,
Victory for Broad Channel Families
After meeting with my office, community leaders and local residents, the Department of Transportation has agreed to repave additional side streets initially excluded from the Broad Channel Street Resurfacing Project. Dozens of streets, including Shad Creek Road, East 6th Road and many others are now promptly being worked on! This is a huge victory for our families and I want to give a special thank you to Dan Mundy and the Broad Channel Civic Association for their hard work and tireless advocacy!
Raising A Stink Over Sewer Odors
Our families shouldn't have to hold their noises any longer to avoid the foul odors caused by backed up catch basins. I have sent a letter to DEP demanding they do a comprehensive review of the sewers and catch basins in our neighborhoods and implement a system to regularly maintain them immediately. Sandy recovery must remain a top priority for every city agency to ensure our infrastructure is updated and prepared for future storms. Watch me on NY1 discuss this issue here
Team Goldfeder Turns 3!
Last Saturday marked my 3 year anniversary since I was elected to serve you and some of the greatest neighborhoods in New York State.

We have faced some daunting challenges and they have only made our partnership and my commitment stronger. Thank you to the hardest working staff in government, my family and all the community leaders and residents for your love and support. We have accomplished so much, but the best is yet to come!
