Present indications are that a winter storm will impact our area here in Broad Channel Sunday evening after 9:00 pm and continue into Monday with periods of heavy accumulating snow...6-12 inches possible.
If the track of this storm remains as forecast the National Weather Service should issue a "Winter Storm Watch" sometime tomorrow morning, 12-36 hours in advance of this pending significant winter weather event.
