"Some people are getting calls from the Red Cross encouraging them to apply for reimbursement money for repair work. Red Cross (not stung by bad PR by any chance?) is rolling out what seems like its own version of Build It Back. Oddly enough, the Red Cross media office was unaware such calls were being made. (We verified the calls were indeed from the Red Cross). The organization is offering reimbursements for work done as a result of Sandy. Be advised there are qualifiers. First, you should have received a full a FEMA payout ($31,900). There are other requirements involving need and documentation. Call 877-733-2767 if interested."
