Here comes Winter!

At 12: 11 p.m. this Saturday, December 21, 2013, Fall is officially is over and our Winter season begins.

Saturday will also be the shortest day of the year with the sun rising at 7:17 am and setting  9 hours, 15 minutes and 15 seconds later at 4:32 p.m.

Winter will continue for the next 90 days until March 19th, 2014 at which time Spring will once again return.

Don't let the coming Winter Solstice give you a case of the "winter blahs" just yet.  It's not all bad news as the temperature this Saturday will be in the 50's and Sunday we could actually make a run for 70 but I think the high 60's is a safer bet.
