Late Week "Coastal Creeper"....

A storm is forecast to slowly spin up along the mid-Atlantic coast through the balance of the week and will gather some of Karen's lingering moisture as it "creeps" up the coast.

Indications are that the storm will not get very strong and will more than likely be nothing more than similar to a weak nor'easter for our area here in Broad Channel.

The storm and the modest east-to-northeast winds it generates on the coast would occur during or just prior to the first-quarter stage of the moon.
Tide levels at this phase of the moon are not significant. The full moon and significant astronomical tides do not occur until Oct. 16 to 18.
