Support Senator Landrieu's SMART NFIP Act.....

We received this email earlier today....


Dear West 12th Road Block Association,

We need your help for Stop Fema Now. U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu needs signatures in order to urge the Senate to pass a one-year delay upon the Biggert-Waters Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2012. 

She is advocating for her own act - The SMART NFIP Act which will delay premium increases, repeal provisions preventing new owners of sold homes to continue subsidized rates, and allow the rebuilding of key community facilities destroyed in a disaster that lie in velocity zones (v-zones). 

But we need your help and support for much needed signatures...in order for this to pass through the Senate.

If you can help her get the much needed signatures/supporters it would greatly be appreciated. The Biggert-Waters Act must be stopped and reformed
