Has the sudden influx of cooler, autumn like, air have you longing for the warmer days of our waning summer?
There is an upside to the cooler than normal temps we have been experiencing..
The persistent southward dip in steering winds high above us, known as the jet stream, is directing one Canadian air mass after another across our area and will continue to do so into mid September.
This movement will act to keep any hurricane or tropical storm away from our coastline.
And that's a good thing, right?
