A 7 foot High tide was scheduled for 8:00 pm but, by 6:15 pm, the rising water of Jamaica Bay had already found its way almost three quarters of the way up West 12th Road.
Evening high tides over the next few days will be exacerbated by a full moon with an accompanying coastal flood advisory.
