"WITHIN WEEKS AFTER MEETING WITH RESIDENTS IN BROAD CHANNEL, AND HEARING FIRST-HAND ACCOUNTS OF KNEE-DEEP WATER ON FLOODED STREETS OFF CROSS BAY BOULEVARD, I WORKED WITH THE MAYOR’S OFFICE TO MOVE UP THE LONG-AWAITED DRAINAGE PROJECT FOR THE AREA BY FIVE YEARS,…FROM 2015 TO 2010. DESIGN IS NOW UNDERWAY ON THE 24 MILLION DOLLAR PROJECT."
