Nationwide Test of Federal Governments Emergency Alert System

The federal government (FEMA and FCC) will conduct the first-ever national test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) this afternoon at 2:00PM. The test is expected to last approximately thirty (30) seconds and will involve an interruption of programming on television and radio stations.
