Tucked away on the west side of the small town of Broad Channel in the middle of Jamiaca Bay is a narrow, dead end, street that goes by the name of West 12th Road. Those of us who live there know that the nice part about living in a small town is that when you are not quite sure what is going on, someone else always does! [Peter J. Weekend Storm Update - Looking like another near miss!
It looks like the comuter models are now favoring a "partial ocean storm" with a swing-out just enough to leave the heavy snow out of the mid-Atlantic and any significant snow accumulation up in New England.
If this predicted forecast holds true, our area can expect a coating to maybe 2 inches of snow Sunday evening.
The proof in the pudding will come Saturday evening and early Sunday morning when the storm turns north and finally establishes its coastal track.
